Paint Water - OOAK - 005

Similar to my turpentine skeins, all skeins of "Paint Water" are one-of-a-kind and dyed with leftover dyes. Every time I finish my handpaint skeins, there is always some dye left in the bottles. I often set the bottles aside and when I have accumulated enough bottles with dye, I have a play day! I lay out the skeins and start to scribble, sometimes even writing words or drawing fun pictures. You can never tell when the yarn is wound up though!

Every individual skein is unique and can never be replicated. But often times skeins dyed on the same day make great fades!

These are dyed on my "DK" base - 100% SW Merino, 231yards/100g.

I do my best to represent colors accurately, but they may vary slightly from dye lot to dye lot and when viewed on different monitors.
